Viernes, ultimo día de la semana hábil y primero del fin de semana, viernes es diversión, es salir, es desaburrirse, es romper con la rutina del cotidiano día a día, es pasión, es desatarse, es excesos y sobre todo es enamorarse.
Siendo serios, ¿quien no se ha enamorado un viernes?, de alguna manera todos en alguna ocasión, ya sea amor a primera vista, amor salvaje, amor díscolo, amor de una noche, amor verdadero, o sólo un sentimiento pasajero al que llamamos "amor", necesitabamos una sección "sentimental" en este blog, y por qué no hacerlo acerca del amor, en el nombre lo dice se posteará los viernes.
Algunos tal vez podrían acusarme de poca creatividad al elegir la rola que nombra a la sección para el primer post, pero se me hizo lo más adecuado para "romper el hielo".
La canción fue lanzada en el disco Wish de 1992, siendo un parteaguas, ya que ha sido su ultimo gran exito hasta la fecha en los Estados Unidos y Latinoamerica, Friday I'm In Love es una parodia de la música pop, es la paradójica manera de burlarse de la escena del pop, es una manera de llevarle la contraria a sonidos en ese entonces en boga como el Grunge o el Shoegazing, la canción esta repleta de referencias a otras canciones o a hitos históricos como "I don't if monday's blue" que hace referencia a Blue Monday de New Order.
En fin, espero disfruten esta su nueva sección, y esta bellísima canción.
